Yesterday, OHS Celebrated its 100th First Day of school 1920's style!

Lamar University held its awards ceremony for their Orange County High School Student Anthology contest from last spring. Takota Burnett was selected as Orangefield's contest winner and received a $1,000 check for her poem. Her poem will be published in an anthology book of Orange County student writings which will go on sale in December or January through various book outlets including Amazon. Congratulations to Takota Burnett on becoming a published, paid writer!

In following tradition, we would like to invite you to celebrate your son or daughter’s high school
achievements by purchasing an advertisement of recognition for this year’s football program. These ads are
a unique way for you to congratulate your child at this important milestone in his or her education. New this
year, the football program will be in full color!
The 2025-2026 school year starts in early August and football season starts soon after. The football
program will be completed during the summer months in order for us to have programs to sell at our first
game. Therefore, the deadline for purchasing an ad is Friday, July 18th and the deadline for
submitting your ad is Wednesday, July 23rd
