Last night the 2024 Babe Didrikson Zaharias Awards Banquet was held.
Junior, Lincoln Parks was named Boys' Player of the Year.
Sophomore, Jordyn Rucker was a finalist for the Girls' Underclassmen Character award. She was nominated by fellow golf coaches out of all the golfers in the southeast Texas area. The award seeks individuals who epitomize leadership qualities not only in their athletic endeavors but also in their academic pursuits and community engagements.
Coach Ashlee Broussard was chosen as the Girls’ Coach of the Year by the coaches and organization.

Congratulations to Kaitlyn Jenkins on placing 2nd in the state at the UIL competition in Austin for Computer Applications! We Believe!


Orangefield Elementary's Leisa Miller received the prestigious Wayne A. Reaud Excellence in Education Award Tuesday evening. Mrs. Miller serves as a science teacher and the 5th grade team leader. She is pictured receiving her award from the new president of the Reaud foundation, Reagan Reaud, and with her principal, Julie Fuller.




The Orangefield ISD Education Foundation donated $1250 to Orangefield Jr. High to enhance the art program by purchasing a printing press. The donation was funded in part by the B.A. & E.W. Steinhagen Benevolent Trust through the Southeast Texas Arts Council.
