The Orangefield ISD Board of Trustees and administration held a groundbreaking ceremony for the bond construction that will be started soon. On October 31st, the OISD Board of Trustees, administration, and project stakeholders gathered at Orangefield High School to officially kick off the district’s bond construction project.We extend our gratitude to everyone who contributed to making this ceremony a success and to all community members who have supported this initiative.

October 2nd is National Custodian Day! We appreciate all our custodians do to give OISD students and teachers a clean space to learn and grow! The district custodians were treated to Nothing Bundt Cakes by our support services department while our high school campus put together a table of treats for them to enjoy!

Good Things! Sixty-two high school students attended a leadership luncheon hosted by OHS student council and City of Orange Mayor, Larry Spears. High school seniors had the opportunity to attend the recent college fair hosted by LSC-Orange. OJH gave its first ever “Awesome Attendance Award” to Kamryn Farias for her great attendance. OJH 8th Grade Volleyball took home gold from the LCM Tournament. The OES 5th Grade Student Leadership Team, sponsored by Mrs. Mire, began their “Bobcat Buddies” program where 5th grade students help in 1st and 2nd grade classrooms. OES enjoyed supporting our Fighting Bobcats with themed spirit days for Homecoming. We Believe!
